I am super excited for the launch of new interiors range Living by Christiane Lemieux at department store House of Fraser next week. I may have more reasons than most since I art directed and produced the lifestyle photography for the launch (which you can see here on this blog) so I am familiar with the range and know for a fact the product is absolutely gorgeous. Comprised of three main colour stories Bronze, Monochrome and Pretty, much of the retro-inspired collection is on my must-have list for spring, including the chunky wood pillar candle holders and appliquéd felt cushions.
Christiane Lemieux is the founder of U.S. brand Dwell Studio and the author of Undecorate. Dwell Studio have an incredible flagship store based at 77 Wooster Street in SoHo, New York. This mecca for homeware sells the full collection of furniture, home accessories, bedlinen and home textiles within a beautiful retail setting featuring dark wood floorboards, library style shelving and retro style hanging pendant lights. If you visit New York, make sure you go but don’t forget your wallet as I guarantee you will want to buy something!
The collection for House of Fraser is an exclusive collaboration between Christiane’s team in the U.S. and House of Fraser’s buying and design team. Blending bold prints and eclectic accessories with retro style furniture, the collection feels very current and on trend. It encapsulates Christiane’s signature style which is based on the philosophy of adventurous design and creativity in the home. There are some floral prints on the textiles but they are far from girly, think bold rather than overly pretty. Just what the UK high street needs, stylish designs without the price tag.
Dwell Studio is doing some great things!
Yes, it’s a great collection. I was lucky enough to art direct the photo shoot and fell in love with most of the pieces!
